  • Spends 20 minutes wrestling with the keyboard in the ship editor.
  • Spends 20 seconds in game before colliding with a ship thanks to low visibility, dies in one hit
  • Ship editor doesn't remember previous design for quick retries.

Good work.

Thanks for your feedback! I've updated the game, so you don't have to wrestle with the keyboard in the ship editor anymore!!

  1. Improved Controls: You can now use WASD for better navigation, and I've added mouse support for easier ship editing.
  2. Keep Your Ship: After a run, you now get to keep your ship for quicker retries.

I hope these changes improve your experience. Enjoy the game, and thanks for playing!

That definitely helps. However enemy ships are still too fast and near impossible to outmaneuver. I would suggest a larger screen, but seeing as this was a GBJam entry, that'd break the given limitation. There should be some way the player can realistically see an incoming threat while there's still time to react and for the player to swing around and shoot the enemy when they come from behind.

There also appears to be a new bug with parts being placed 90° clockwise from how they show in the menu after restarting the game.

Thank you for your feedback! I've made some updates based on your suggestions.

I've slowed down the enemy ships, added an indicator for better awareness, and fixed the rotation bug in the editor.

Your input is greatly appreciated. If you have more ideas or run into issues, please share them. Enjoy the game!

Considerably better!

It's still tricky, but I was able to shoot down a few ships before I got destroyed and the one that got me I felt was on my mistake. I can definitely get into a rhythm to last longer through practice.

Awesome! Thanks again for your time and feedback. Enjoy the improved gameplay!
